Amanda J. Harrison is an adventure and commercial pilot, cancer survivor, and public speaker based in England. If it wasn’t a big enough challenge to find success in the male-dominated aviation industry, Amanda faced another serious obstacle in her journey of becoming a pilot – dyslexia.

 In this captivating discussion, Amanda talks about her battle with breast cancer, her harrowing journey to fly the same path as the late pioneering pilot Amy Johnson, the unconditional support from her parents, and what it was like to discover that she’s dyslexic and how she was able to chart a course around her disability on her way to becoming a pilot.
